Guest yesterday in Prague for the presentation of the Inter Academy project dedicated to the Czech Republic, Javier Zanetti, vice president of Inter, speaks to Znamzpravy’s microphones about the difficulties of the Champions League group, which also includes Slavia Prague: ‘It is a very demanding group, they are all difficult teams to deal with. With Slavia it is important to make a positive result at the onset. We don’t think that with them there are two automatic victories, in football all the opponents must be respected and the Slavia deserved to be in Champins. the group is difficult, we will have to sweat to pass’.
Pupi, later, also describes his role in society: ‘For me it is above all a great responsibility because Inter is a great global brand. There have been several changes of ownership and our job is to preserve the important traditions of Inter. I personally take care of social projects, travel all over the world, entertain international relations and manage the Inter Academy project, which is a very important task for us. We want to continue to grow and get closer to our fans. Now I’m close to the team and to Conte.
During the long talk, Zanetti gave a joke with an institution of Czech football, Pavel Nedved, now vice president of Juventus: ‘We know each other well, we met in many matches on the field during our careers. We are in contact now, we both work in the management of Inter and Juventus respectively. We respect each other a lot.
